The Manitoba Association of Registered NursesThe Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses (MARN) is the regulatory and professional body for registered nurses in Manitoba. It derives its mandate from legislation, The Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses Act (RSM 1987 c. R40). The Association deals with issues relating to registration, regulation, professional conduct, health policy, education, research and nursing practice. MARN has a responsibility to protect the public from unsafe, incompetent and unethical nursing practice.
